The Art Curator

Don’t lock away the art, my love

the sculpture, the painting, the photograph

shouldn’t be displayed in sterile rooms

above cold plaques of praise

instead —

it should hang on the streets,

between fruit stands and bus stops,

where we can save it

from art curators.
